user folder opens at logon

Hi,

I'm running Windows XP2 and a few days ago everytime I logon the my user
folder opens automatically. Can someone please tell me who to stop this. Any
help will be appreciated. Thanks

Download Startup Tracker application from this page:
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/utils/xp_starttrack.htm

Launch the program, and click the "View log" button. Post the contents of
the log file here.

Note: No need to post the following sections:

The folder that opens is the user folder of the person who logs on. It is
the one under Documents and Settings.

I was actually looking for items in the startup list that have path in LFN
format with the absense of quotation mark. No unsual items found in this
list. Only thing which I can think of is to use MSCONFIG to disable the
startup applications one at a time and isolate the problem.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Since the only in the
startup was the compac cpqset I decided to check my Startright program.
There under the startup tab were a few programs including MyWebSearch Email
Plugin link that had not been removed. I disabled it and everything seems to
be running normal.
