USB problems

Hi
My usb will not recognise mass storage devices anymore...
Windows XP home very helpfully tells me USB device not recognised and suggests
I should replace the device ... this happens with my sony camera and HD type
mp3 player. Windows installs an unknown device icon with no driver in the
device manager.
These devices used to work fine.
any suggestions appreciated.

Go to Start/Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC , highlight the USB HUB device(s),
Action menu, "Uninstall", then restart Windows, to find the device drivers
again automatically.
