USB Camera Badwidth Exceeded

S

When I try to use Outlook Video E-mail or other camera related programs a
box pops up saying "USB Bandwidth Exceeded." I tried two different web cams
and different usb ports. My PC is a systemax 2.5gig with over 700mb of ram.
What can I do to correct this? It doesn't happen on my Win2K machine and
that's only a Pentium 3.

Install a card with USB 2.0 ports. Your problem, more than likely, is
caused by using a slow USB controller. Neither the speed of the cpu nor the
amount of ram have much to do with this problem.

I'm using a USB Sound Blaster. If I disconnect the sound device it works
fine. I've tried moving things around and I've found that if I plug the
SoundBlaster into the usb on the computer and the camera to the usb hub
(which is powered) it works fine.
