Usage Analysis vs. FrontPage Ext ????

Hi ppl,

I have learned how to install the front page extensions, the website is up
and running, security has been properly set with what is available from MS,
(i.e., IIS lockdown tool). I'm able to, from the frontpage client, connect
to my IIS server and upload any new or modified page.

I have configure extensions so that I can do administrative task for the
extensions from the client. The only thing I cannot do is view any usage
analysis from the client. Usage analysis has been set on the server as well
as on the site. I'm able to get e-mails from the web-server reporting any
usage updates.

If I go to tools menu, the server option in the dropdown menu is grayed out.

What did I miss...I have look at all the documentation that I can find and
they all say the same thing, "configure usage analysis on the server and on
the web-site....go to tools menu...click on server and configure.

There seems to be information about configuring certain aspects of the
server in order to view certain reports but I have not been able to find
such information. Can anyone point me to the documentation that will help me
resolve this issue???

Any help will be gratefully appreciated

Did you install the FP2002 extensions on the server?

Thus usually indicates that you're opening a disk-based
location. To view Usage reports and other features of the
server extensions, you need to open an HTTP location such
as http://127.0.0.1/ (assuming you're sitting at the Web
server).

Start FrontPage, choose Open Web from the File menu, type
your http:// address in the Web Name box, and then click
Open.
