Upgrading

I want to install a registered version of Office 2003 onto a computer that is
currently running an unregistered version of Office 2003. Will I lose all
information relevant to Outlook and Outlook Express or any other programmes.
Should these two programmes be backed up separately and then re-installed
after installation.
