upgrading to sql server - admin problems

when I try to upgrade my access database to sql server 2005 or to the express
version I get the error that I don't have administrative privileges. Yet I
sign in as administrator. I am the only account on my computer and I've
verified with the 'My' keyword is vb is vs 3005 that I am the administrator.
