upgrading from betaversio

I am currently using Version 5.1 (Build 2600.xpsp_sp2_rc1.040311-2315 :
Service Pack 2, v.20) this information is from winver command. I am having
trouble upgrading to the full version of sp2 as when I try to install the
full version I get the error ( This service pack cannot be installed on top
of the windows XP service pack 2 Build currently installed on this computer.
Cancel this installation process, uninstall your current Windows XP service
pack 2 build, then re install this service pack). I am using the install disk
sent to me from microsoft as the auto update site gives me the same error.
The only problem is I cant uninstall the previous service pack as I cant find
where it is. I've tried looking under add\remove programs with show updates
checked. Still to no avail. Any help here would be appreciated.
With Thanks

If you cannot find the service pack in add/remove program the reason may be
because the service pack was not installed as a service pack patch but
rather as an integrated service pack.

One option that may work is to use a repair install and effectively
reinstall winXP. Then install the service pack after reinstalling XP.
