Upgraded to XP - now Win2k machine Logon failure:user account restricted

After upgrading a newer computer to XP and adding it to my workgroup, the
other computers on the LAN get "Logon failure: user account restricted"

How can I allow my older computers to be on the network?

Neat stuff.

I can manage access from W2k to Wxp by setting "Guest" on XP to no check for
"Account is disabled" (i.e., Guest is enabled) but with the same (no check)
on the primary users of the other machines, I still get the error message.
The primary user has the same name on both machines and the same password...

I don't think I want "Guest" to have access... do I?

The primary username has a space in it -- is that a problem?

You can use either the Guest, or a non-Guest, account on either computer, for
authenticating file sharing. Just be aware of the limitations of Guest.
