Upgraded to XP now can't logon to domain

We have an AD domain with about 15,000 users. Everything was working fine
until yesterday when I decided to upgrade my workstataion fro W2K to XP.
Now I cannot log onto the domain. When I first tried I got the error
message that my username or password was incorrect. I am the domain admin,
so I checked everything out on the DC and everything looked fine. So I
decided to reset the computer account. I used netdom to reste the account
but received the error message "revision level is unknown". I have tried to
change the workstation to a workgroup but get the same error. I removed the
computer account from the DC and added it back. But now there is no trust
our secure channel. I have tried using netdom to add / join /reset the
account with no luck (same error). Has anyone seen this error? Or does
anyone know how to manually move a workstation to a workgroup? Any & all
help is very much appreciated.

It sounds like you have a DNS problem. As a a quick fix
load WINNs on the AD server and add the entry of itself
into WINNS. This should work
