upgrade to 614 - clean install ?

What is the best approach:
What is the best approach to install the 614 version ?
Uninstall 1.0.509 first or install over it ?

Time is running out - 509 expires end of July, but I can see from the many
posts here there are many problems when and if updating to 614.

509 has worked fine for me including updates.

I've tried it both ways and there is no difference in
performance. Go for the upgrade.
