Upgrade to 2007 - Email Stopped Working

George

At work we use a database that was created several years ago. Our QA
inspectors enter their work write-ups and then click on a send button and it
sends the write-up thru Outlook to whomever they select from the built in
address book. Then we were forced to upgrade to Office 2007. The database
stopped working so we converted it to 2007, everything in the program seems
to work except for when you click on the e-mail send button you get an error
message; Error:CreateMailitem() subroutine.
Anyone have any ideas what would cause this. We also upgraded our Outlook to
2007.

Thanks

I will have to dig thru the database and try to find it, I didn't create it.
Also it
used to work the only thing we did was convert it to 2007.

If you go into a code module and use Find, it will take seconds. Have you set
the trusted location yet?

Your problem may very well be the wrong Object Library checked. Do you know
how to check references? Here's one way:

Now that I am at work I looked inside the Trust Center and it is blank
and it is locked down by our Admin department, Also I noticed that the
Database file type is a ACCDE which I never hear of. When I hold the shift
key down when I start the database the program runs - it doesn't let me
inside to tweak the settings.

Sorry George but it looks like you will need to ask your IT for assistance in
this case.
