upgrade or full version?

On http://www.microsoft.com/office/PowerPoint/howtobuy/default.mspx#EEAA it
says that because I have Microsoft Works, Works Suite 2003, that I can just
buy the upgrade version of Powerpoint 2003. Is this true? as I do not have
powerpoint on my PC with Works Suite 2003 or do I have to buy the full
version if I want Powerpoint 2003?

Microsoft finally got smart and allows the PPT Upgrade for a lot more
qualifying products than it used to. Seems to me that you should be able to
use the Upgrade version. I've not heard anyone complain that the list on
that "how to buy" page is wrong.

For anyone reading this and wondering, Office Basic 2003 (which is available
from some manufacturers when you purchase your computer) won't let you use
the PPT Upgrade to add PPT.
