Upgrade from Pentium D 830 to Pentium D 940?

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU from a Pentium D 830 to a Pentium D 940. If I
do that, will Windows require to be re-installed? Assuming the motherboard
and chipsets are all compatible and don't need to be replaced.

Thanks!
Max.

Just the CPU? Normally not. But it may also depend on how much hardware
you've changed in the last 120 days as well.

The only hardware addition to the computer is a Sony Blu-Ray optical drive
(BD-R, DVD burner/player), which would benefit from the boost from 3.0 to
3.4 Ghz.

Should be fine, in the worst case scenario, all that should happen is that
you may have to reactivate.... if online fails, it's a toll free telephone
call.
