Updates with SMS

I am trying to put together a solution where i use SMS to deploy updates and patches to my XP embedded devices with the use of SMS 200

I have images that are working with sms and i can install patched with DUA but surely microsoft has got a recommended way of using SMS for this

Is there any Best Practice document or something simmilar for this???
