Update to Icons spreading...

I have managed to get the icons to reduce in size but I am still faced with
the problem of the startup screen (and every other page I go to) being far
wider and longer than the edge-to-edge view. I can scroll a long way right
and a long way down, which is a nuisance as I can't see stuff properly.
I have tried adjusting the monitor but it has no effect. I have checked my
display settings (43 vertical and 43 horizontal). I would appreciate
suggestions.

Problem solved with the help of Mad Mike. Not completely back to where it
was yesterday, with some font and toolbar size issues but the main problem
has been fixed.
