Windows XP Update Rollup 2 Problems

Hi All,

I have and HP computer with Windows Media Centre Edition and I can't get the update rollup 2 to install, I tried everything I know. Including playing arouns with the framework. Which settings or files do I need to have in order to make this work?

The update rollup is the update that allows you to install windows media extender to connect to the xbox 360.

I don't know what's going on.
