Problem with xbox and update rollup 2.

My recorder was working fine until I hooked my xbox 360 to it and now it
wont record anything. It comes up with the message "Restrictions set by the
broadcaster and/or originator of the content prohibit recording of this
program". If I go in and uninstall the update rollup 2 this problem stops but
my xbox can no longer connect. Reinstall it and no more recording but my xbox
connects fine. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you.
