update problem

just updated to 5719 with no problem. afterwards, ran
file/check for update, and expected it to say already up to
date, but it went and got 5719 again. tried this three
times, same thing. is there a problem with MSAS thinking
it's not up to date when it is?

I also get this problem. I suspect there is a spyware
causing the problem but none of the spyware remover seem
able to detect and remove the spyware. It look like it
can prevent us from updating. Microsoft is like not doing
anything.

It happens with me when I try to do the Update with a
limited account. Moreover, when I do a system scan with a
limited account, the scan is not recorded, so the
programme says, justa fter finishing a scan, that the
last one was a month ago.

When I enter in the Administer Account, both the updates
and the scans' results are recorded. So try using your
administer account to update the programme.
