Definition Update?

When I go to update my definitions, it says that I have
5719 and the most recent version is 5721, so it downloads
it and installs. However, if I attempt to run the update
again, it says I have 5719 and downloads and installs as
if I never got 5721. What am I doing wrong?

This is a bug, somebody experiencing a similar problem in NG's earlier.

After using the auto-updater to update to Defs 5721,
I ran the FCIV utility in

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841290/

on the file "gcThreatAuditScanData.gcd". I got
values of MD5 and SHA-1 different from those in

us;892519
