Update for Windows Vista (KB9416649) Failed

Windows Vista Business machine is 2 months old. This is the first update
that has failed for me. It started attempting to update on 11-14-07. The
machine will boot, then it says it's configuring files, but it's unable to
install the update. I've seen similar posts and wanted confirm the issue.
Any help available for this?

Thanks Carey. I tried that and the "Update for Windows (KB941649), type
Important" was successfully installed vs. the "Update for Windows Vista
(KB941649), type Recommended" which failed. Problem is that Windows Update
still wants me to install the latter with the Failed status.
