Update error, how do I fix this?

I'm having the same problem. There's been some discussion of this at the
microsoft.public.windowsupdate group. The general concensus is that it's a
IE caching problem; clearing the cache should help (although it doesn't 100%
of the time for me). Also, simply removing "thankyou.asp" from the address
of that page generally works.
