unwanted pop-ups

Whenever I log on to IE 6 I get a pop up asking me to sign
up to a games zone at some high cost per minute.when I say
no to this it locks up my Pc and I have to hard reboot
everytime. The pop up occurs after about 30 secs of going
on line. I have cleared my cache, deleted all cookies and
temp files, but it is still happening. How can I get rid
off it? Thanks

look in add/remove programs. and
spybot safer-networking.org
ad-aware lavasoftusa.com
update both before scan

Check your computer for Spyware:

Try this program first:
CWShredder
http://aumha.org/downloads/cwshredder.zip

Then get both of these programs, Download, immediately check for UPDATES
(you do this to insure you have the latest definitions, the programs are
updated almost daily), then scan your computer for Spyware.

Once your computer is clean, go to Windows Update. Scan for Updates,
download and install all *Critical* Updates*. You can set your computer for
automatic updates.
