Unused colomn / Rows

Hi to all

I am using a sheet with 286 row and colomns until CL
How to hide the aditional rows and colomns so that they cannot be seen and
have different colors in the area outside the range a1:CL286 that I am
using?

You can either

Select the superfluous columns and rows and
Format>Columns>Hide
Format>Rows>Hide

or set them all to a grey colour.

Hi,
After hiding the rows and colomns, when i move down the area is gray.
How I can change it color for dark green or any other color?
I hope I am clear.

If you have hidden that many, then I think the colour you see is a windows
setting, changing that will affect many other apps.
