I would like to be able to unset the "read-only" status of a shared folder. When PROPERTIES is selected the Read-only checkbox is checked and grayed out. I can ucheck it and select to change the attribute to all sub-folders and files and Window XP looks like it goes through the motions of unsetting the "read-only" status. The box is unchecked after OK is pressed. The problem is that if you go back to PROPERTIES the "Read-only' checkbox will be checked again and indeed remote users have only read-only access. This happens even though I have selected "Full Control" on the "Permissions" section of the "Sharing" Tab. How can I get the 'Read-only" box to remain unchecked?
