Unread Mail Folder

Octavio

I deleted the Unread Mail Folder which was under Favorites Folder, and I
want to know how to put it back and how to manipulate what is put over
there. I put a thread about this before, but since it is not showing in
this newsgroup, I am doing it again.

Just curious what is that about.

Thanks in advance.

OK, I added the folder there and it has a lot of things from MSN that I
never read and do not intend to read. Two questions:

1. How I can set what this folder receives so it receives only what I want
(now it is populated automatically and I do not know why).

2. I do not see an "empty" click anywhere to conveniently empty whatever is
inside this folder at one time with minimal stpes. To delete the contents,
I have to select them all and then delete. There is another delete
somewhere there that inadverteddly deletes the folder, and that is what
happened to me.

Please advise.

right click on the Search Folders folder and create a new one -select the
unread folder from the redefined list.

it's pointers to all the unread mail in your profile - if you want to
"empty" it, mark all as read. if you "empty" it (delete the items) they
will be removed from all folders in your mailbox.

if you only want to see unread items from certain folders, right click on
the search folder and choose new, then make a custom search folder and
select the folders you want to search.
