Unknown Item In Add/Remove

After installing Roxio Easy Media Creator 7 & updates, noticed an
item/program called "USB Storage Adapter FX" under Add/Remove
in Control Panel. Have no idea what this is and don't know if part of
installation of Creator 7 but appeared after installing this program.
Any ideas as to what this is or if safe to uninstall, would be much
appreciated.

Thanks for reply. Had googled it before posting but unable to understand
all the
tech info on various links. Still unsure if need or should uninstall, but
think will
leave alone as system ok with whatever it's purpose is and perhaps need for
some of Creator 7 applications.
