unknown device network cards

Hi, i just receive a pc that was infected with tons of spyware/trojans. I use
lavasoft adaware SE to clean it and rebooted the pc. All infections are gone
and system is clean but the network card on the pc says !unknow device. SO i
tried to install a usb network interface i use to gice me highspeed access to
the internet and it gives me the same unknown deviec with an ! sign beside
it. I tried a davicom network adapter and i get the same result.

I really need help with this one .

While it's a nice exercise to clean up a messy system, this is one that I
would tear down and build over. You have no idea of its history. It's
possible that not all intrusions and threats were detected and cleaned.
It's possible that there is residual damage to files including important
system files.
