Unistalling IE 6

G

Guest

I cannot uninstall IE 6.0, with the recommended service pack from Microsoft.. I am running Windows 2000 Pro. I cannot open IE 6.0 and trired to install it again, and got a message that stated a newer version of what I was trying to install was already on the computer. I tried add/remove programs, not there. Tried doing it thru the C prompt, can't delete the program. Is there a way to do this and reinstall IE 6.0 with the disc I have? Any help or advise is appreciated

Thank you

If the primary problem is that you can't open IE, see:
