UNINSTALLING AN UNKNOWN DEVICE

I INSTALLED A SCANNER AND IT SAID THAT THE DRIVERS FOR
THIS DEVICE ARE NOT INSTALLED ( CODE 28 ). THE DEVICE
MANAGER FAILED TO UNINSTALL THE DEVICE, AS IT SAID THE
DEVICE MAY BE REQUIRED TO BOOT UP THE COMPUTER. I HAVE 12
EXCLAMATION POINTS UNDER IMAGING DEVICE ( UNKNOWN
DEVICE ) ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA HOW TO DELETE THESE UNKNOWNS
