Uninstall XP SP3 RC2 first?

I'm getting a strange error that I think may be related to XP SP3 RC2 -

When I click Remote Desktop Connection I get a message saying "The
pre-release version has expired. Go to Windows Update. Windows Update says
I'm current.

Since I have no pre-release or beta software on my system other than SP3 I'm
assuming that's the culprit.

Should I attempt to uninstall the RC2 version or is there a way to force the
RTM sp3 onto my system.

Or any other suggestion that might be helpful.
