Uninstall software wanted

Tracy

hello,

i have software that i would like to install.
i used the uninstall tool that comes with the software (when it exists) and
i use add/remove programs.
there are still folders on my hard drive for the software and i'm sure there
is stuff in the registry.
i remember may be back in the early 90's you could buy uninstall software
that would remove all of this.
i've looked, but did not see any that i thought would remove software like
ACT, visual studio, and delete the stuff in the registry for the software
that is uninstalled etc, etc
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

You can manually remove folders from 'Program Files' if they are no longer
in use.

Registry entries can be removed manually or with Registry cleaners. Either
way can lead to the computer not working as it should. XP generally ignores
orphaned entries anyway..

Try Revo-Uninstaller. It's freeware and it will do a scan after the
uninstall for any files and registry left overs, so you can delete those
too.
