Uninstall/Install Admin troubles

Hi,
I am running on a Windows XP Pro SP2 machine and ive run into problems
installing and uninstalling programs. I get error 1316 on one and many other
administrator "privilege" errors. The weird thing is that i am the
administrator. Can anyone help?

Sorry I don't have any specific suggestions for you but do some reading in
these links about error 1316. They might give you an idea. What was
changed between the time program installs worked and when they didn't? Have
you tried a system restore to before the problem surfaced. It looks like
some sort of permissions error.

it was working fine roughly aorund 1 month or two ago up til last week. ive
done a restore but nothing is coming around. i'll take a look at the links,
