Uncheck Enable third-party browser extensions

IE6 keeps closing having 'encountered a problem'. I was
advised by someone through this newsgroup to uncheck
Enable third-party browser extensions for diagnostic
purposes. I have done this restarted the computer and IE6
still closes ...... What have I therefore diagnosed?

guess thats just one step, run a virus and a trojan scan,
you might have a critter on board.
