UNC Paths

Hi All,

Didnt know which group to post this to...

You know how you can UNC to somehwere on the network,
\\servername\share
When I trype say \\servernam usually, the drop down list
would appear with a list of shares/resource on that
server.
For some reason when I do it now, I have to type in the
whole UNC patch, even if I've navigated to that resource
before, it doesnt remember that I have.
I have been testing GPO but I havent applied the any GPO
to my user account or my machine. Could a GPO do this?

Any idea's???

The only thing that I can think of is that AutoComplete was disabled. Could
that have been disabled through group policy or on accident?

Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Content tab -> Autocomplete button.

Default checked items are "Web Addresses" and the "User names and passwords
on forms"

There are a couple of policies that will affect Autocomplete under the
following path:
User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Internet
Explorer
