unauthorised sending of credit card information

I have a problem regarding credit card information stored
on my pc. just lately a variety of different programs
have been trying to send my details to various
destinations, the last one being trying to send credit
card details to "IMAGESPOTTING.COM", the alert triggered
was ""You attempted to use WEB BROWSER, TO SEND
INFORMATION IN THE CREDIT CARD CAT"" -I cannot find out
why these programs are trying to send the information (
which happens at randon intervals ) but have blocked said
info. going out with norton security products ( i.e.
firewall and anti virus ).
any help on why this should happen or how to remove my
private info and not have it stored at all would be
greatly appreciated.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Sounds like spyware and adaware. You will have to locate
and remove the programs they are commonly picked up from
sharware and freeware such as gozilla. use ad-aware to
remove them...

I would go to start the run and type regedit and check
these keys it could be that some progarm has been place
it these location to start at startup also check the
other key right below this such as RunOnce and RunOncEx

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Run]
and
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Run]

Herre is a good site to tell you what programs located
there are for.
