unable to use alternate browser, no address book entry

I am unable to connect directly to the web using Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape,
I get an error message stating "No address book entry available". I can then
use IE6 or Outlook Express to connect and the switch to the other browsers.
They work fine on 98se. What is set on my xp home system that prevents them
from connecting directly?

Hi Stephen, I am guessing here, but have you checked your security settings?
