While trying to upgrade a pragram that used to run well on vista the
following message appears: acces rejected for C:\\windows\system32\lr41_32.ax
check if you have enough disk space or sufficient rights. I have enough
diskspace and logged in as administrator. I'm using Vista business and have
Norton 360 running as well.

1. In Control Panel, open User Accounts.
2. Click "Turn User Account Control on or off".
3. Check the box to "Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer" and then click OK.
4. Restart your computer.
5. Install the upgrade to your program.

Hi Coach,

I have had a similar problem (I couldn't install Adobe Acrobat 8), and
instead of turning
UAC back on, I got it to work by right clicking on the msi, and setting
properties/Compatibilty
to Windows XP with SP2. Then when I clicked on it, it worked as expected.

Dear Carey,

I have followed your advise and it worked perfectly. This is nothing short
of a miracle. I have been arguing with the programms helpdesk for 7 weeks.
Their final advise: get an XP computer and install it there. The program I'm
referring to is my accounting software which has the entire administration of
my business. You just saved my life!
Thank you very much!!
