Unable to send mail, possible McAfee issue

I am having trouble sending mail from windows mail whenever I am connected to
a network other than my home network. Running on a new laptop with Vista
Premium. Windows mail seems to go through the normal steps sayin it is
connected, receiving and sending. New mail does cvome in and sent mail moves
to the sent mail folder. Then a McAfee window pops up saying the mail could
not be sent and to verify recipient address format and resend. I have tried
everything I can think of, I have disabled outgoing mail scan, checked my
security settings. Anys suggestions? I travel a lot and it is difficult to
mange my high e-mail load if I have to paste sent mails into webmail.

Thanks,
RSH

You should not allow McAfee to mess with your mail.
That's asking for trouble. Disable all its management of
email. As long as you keep getting email error messages
from McAfee, you haven't disabled its meddling. If all
attempts to reign it in fail, pull it out by the roots (i.e.
uninstall it). There are better antivirus programs, including
several good free ones (AVG, Avast).
