Unable to remove Windows 2000 Server Hotfix through Add/Remove Pro

Could someone tell me how to manually remove a Hotfix from within Windows
2000 Server. Unfortunately, whenever I try to remove a particular hotfix
from my system from within Add/Remove Programs, I get an "error opening
spuninst.log file." I really want to remove this hotfix. Any assistance
will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Depending on where in the chain it was installed. It may no longer be
possible to selectively remove it.
