unable to remove journal viewer

I've run across the problem with Adobe and Microsoft Windows Journal Viewer. If i try to open Adobe or MS Journal Viewer it opens an intallation window and comes up with the error message Network resource unavailable. unable to find "microsoft windows journal viewer.msi".
I have tried to uninstall MS Journal Viewer from the control panel, but I get the same error message
I have tried to reinstall the latest version from MS, but again I get the same message.

Any help would be appreciated
