Unable to print

I have a network with a print server, to which an HP Laserjet 4M is
connected, and
six computers. Four run Win XP Home SP2, one Win 2000, one Win XP Pro SP2.

Printing to the Laserjet is OK from all XP Home and the Win 2000 computers,
but I cannot print from the computer running XP Pro. Printing had been fine
for a number of years until two weeks ago. Networking remains OK between all
computers.

From the XP Pro computer, I cannot display properties for the laser printer.
Get message "Printer properties cannot be displayed. Operation could not be
completed." When I try to add a printer, the print server shows up in the
network path, but no printer name is available.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

System Restore to when it was working correctly and see if that helps.
