Unable to open .TIF from browser

When I click a .tif document link a "File Download"
dialog box comes up with the options to open or save the
document. However, the "Open" button is not available
(grayed out). What settings do I need to change in order
make the "Open" button excessible?

Hi Candace,
You need a program that is associated with TIF files. TIF is a complex file
format that is not unified, but in most cases Irfanview (www.irfanview.com)
will do.

I tried switching between Image Viewer (by eiStream) and
Windows Picture and Fax Viewer for associated programs,
but the result is the same. Any other suggestions?
