unable to map from nt 4.0

i have just installed several new pc's with windows 2000.
when i try to map a shared directory on them from one of
the older machines with windows nt 4.0 it wont let me
connect. i can map from 2000 to nt, & 2000 to 2000 just
fine. any ideas?

actually im in both, & yes all the useraccounts exist on
all pc's. i finally did find a soultion & it was a simple
one. i used the ip address instead of the pc name. thanks
for the help

I have a similar problem, I use Window 2000 and our
network doesn't have domain, I already set so that the PC
sends clear text password to SMB server and yet still
can't seem to map any drive, any suggestions?
