Hello All i am trying to log on to the an IBM netvista
with windows 2000 as the operating system and i am getting.

The local policy of this system does not permit you to
logon interactively.

I do not want to rebuild the machine is there any way i
can get into the machine and change the groups policy
settings.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You will have to log in as administrator in order to
change the local policy.

Hi Felix,

You should be an administrator of the domain or an user with the permissions to log on locally to the machine.
Else you can try to login to the machine with the Administrator credentials for the Local system only and not the domain login.
