I am supporting a user who is is trying to attach a file to an e-mail
in Outlook 2003.
If they right click the file (on the desktop) and choose send to mail
recepient, that works.
If they are in Outlook and click the attachment icon and navigate to
the file and double-click the file name, that works.
If they are in Outlook and choose Insert - File and navigate to the
file and double-click the file name, that works.
But...
If they try to type out the filename and then click Insert, then it
does not work.
Example:
New Mail Message
Insert
File
Type filename in "file name" box (such as test.txt) and then click
INSERT or press ENTER, then nothing happens and the "Insert File"
dialog box remains open.
Any ideas?
Thank you.
