Unable to deploy app using Group Policy

I am trying to launch an MSI that is stored on a clustered volume using Group
Policy. When I try to deploy the same MSI stored on a non-clustered volume
it works as it should. The following error shows in the workstation log.

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Application Management
Event Category: None
Event ID: 108
Date: 11/8/2004
Time: 9:40:08 AM
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
Computer: HRADILT40
Description:
Failed to apply changes to software installation settings. Software changes
could not be applied. A previous log entry with details should exist. The
error was : The installation source for this product is not available.
Verify that the source exists and that you can access it.

I have also posted this in the clustering newsgroup and was told to make
sure that computer accounts had access to the resource. I have given read
access to "Domain Comuters" using both share and NTFS permissions.

Seems strange that I can deploy apps that are stored on a regular share but
not a clustered share.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I had several issues trying to deploy an app to PCs where the users were not
Admins. It is suppose to run as the system account but I was getting
similar errors as you. If I would login to the PC as an admin it would run.

Not sure if that helps you any. But seemed to be an issue for me.

I was applying it to a container which had all of my Computers in it. Then
it was under computer configuration.
