UNABLE TO COPY MUSIC

Why would my windows media player (9 series) no longer
copy to a recordable disc? I've made sure the disc is
clean and undamaged, selected a slower recording speed
(24x) and quit all other programs. The cd-r brand that
I'm using now - is the same one I was using before but
now I get a "cannot copy files to recordable disc" error
message. Most of what I want to copy is a audio cd that
I copied into my player. I also have pictures that I
would like to copy to cd but I get the same message with
that. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks

If you have access to another drive, try it. Read this article :

Try third party software - Nero is the best. You'll need to turn the XP
burning device off. If that doesn't
work then your drive has gone to the big coaster maker in the sky. Get a new
one, they're cheap nowadays.

Jerry
