unable hidden files and folders

I need to unable hidden files and folders in order to uninstall a program in
safe mode ..HOW DO YOU DO THAT?THANKS FOR ANY HELP

Open Control panel
Double click Folder Options
Go to View tab
Select "Show Hidden Files and folders" and untick "Hide Protected system files"
Click OK

hi,
i did the same thing that you discribed but the option (how hidden files) is
not there only (dont show hidden files) what should i do??
