UIDs, Passwords & "Run as"

I have a shared XP Pro machine. All users have limited accounts for "obvious" reasons. I have bought digital cameras for my children and find that the software needed to run these requires administrator accounts. For "obvious" reasons I will not grant my children admin rights.

I have set the program to "run as" , and the program runs fine if I enter an admin paswword, but I cannot get the admin password remembered by the "run as" dialogue box. Again for "obvious" reasons I will not give my chilfren an admin password.

How do I get the password remembered or otherwise enable my children to use a program that requires admin rights from a limited account in a secure fashion.

The only way to do it is to use the command line RUNAS tool, and use the /SAVECRED switch. However, this saves the credentials system wide.

You probably need to adjust the file/folder/registry permissions related to the program in question.
