two questions!!! Please help

I'm using Windows vista and every time I want to attach a document a popup
appears say Extension CLSID verification host has stopped working and will
close the program.

Question #2
Many times after I am done working on a word or powerpoint document and
close the program- A popup appears that says program as stopped working and
windows is checking the problem.

How can I get these to stop happening?

You need to ask in a discussion group for Vista. Here's how to find one.

As you appear to be using a web interface, start here:

http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx

In the tree on the left, first open the English category, then open Windows.
In Windows, find and open the Windows Vista category. There, locate a group
to post in.
